Welcome to Pike County Ninth Grade Academy! We look forward to an exciting year as we embark on the journey of challenging our students to be innovative and creative through every aspect of their education. One to One technology will be available to each student. This will assist our teachers in the integration of curriculum and technology as they build a foundation of unique and distinct teaching strategies. The Ninth Grade Academy faculty and staff are committed to nurturing and developing confident students that are able to be successful at the high school level.
The last day to purchase a yearbook for the 2016-2017 school year is December 16, 2016. The cost of the yearbook is $75.00.
Just fill out an application online at www.pike.k12.ga.us. Look under the "Job Listings" tab. You must attend Sub Training to be eligible. Cost is $40. Training is held at Griffin RESA 770-229-3247. Three hour training from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

STAR Student John Ever named Mrs. Lori Gilreath as STAR Teacher. Mrs. Gilreath taught John language arts as a fifth grade student at Pike County Elementary School. John stated, "You never know the impact that an elementary teacher has on their student for the rest of their life."
