Welcome to Pike County Middle School! At PCMS we believe that with proper support and exposure to a variety of ideas and experiences, each child can maximize his or her own unique potential. To that end, we strive to offer our students educational opportunities that allow them to think critically, solve problems, and be ready to face any challenge—in school and out of school.
Both the 7th and 8th grade middle school bands earned overall Superior ratings at their Large Group Performance Evalatuions on March 20 & 21. LGPE ratings are scored by an on-stage performance and then a sight reading assignment. The 7th grade band earned Superior ratings on stage and excellent in sight reading. The 8th grade band earned Superior in both categories. The bands are under the direction of Stacy Brown.
